Australian astronomers ran into a dense exoplanets in the milky Way.
The density of the object is 23 grams per cubic centimeter, which indicates that the planet turned into a diamond, reports radio24.
Experts believe that alien luminary is a remnant from a star rich in carbon and oxygen. Along with the exoplanets is neuron star is a pulsar, PSR J1719-1438. The distance between the bodies is 600,000 kilometers, and the distance of the Earth from them – 4000 light-years.
Scientists try to explain the unusual appearance of the planet, however, suggest that the giant crystal could emerge from a small white dwarf atmosphere that attracted the pulsar.
