Now, it seems, we have a detailed map of the streets of the whole city.”

Discover lost cities have been using lidar (laser scanner) installed on Board the helicopter. With its help, scientists were able to thoroughly explore the landscape and discover details that were hidden among the thick vegetation.

According to Evans, the opening will provide a “stunning new information” that will allow you to learn more about the rise and fall of the Khmer Empire, a medieval state that existed before the XIVth century.
