Fans are waiting for “more deep, dark and sinister” history.
“After the victory over Molluca, the main character Abe finds himself surrounded by three hundred liberated from the destroyed factory mudokons. They were in the desert without water, food and opportunities to call for help. Abe and company found solace in the production of special drink, which, as it turns out, has a very insidious effect on their newfound freedom,” reads the description of the announcement.
Apparently, Oddworld: Soulstorm will not change the traditions of the series and will continue to raise issues of capitalism, consumerism and drug use. However, that is what critics and fans loved the previous game in the series.
The assurances of the Creator of the Oddworld universe, Lorne Lanning (Lorne Lanning), Soulstorm will allow developers to reveal many details of the original story and show the history of the game world from a different point of view.
