What say the fed?

Working the Russians, wishing to receive a decent pension, have to take care of your future by participating in the formation of pension savings. About it yesterday in an interview with “Russia 24” stated the Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov.

The famous proverb says: “Fed no one is hungry”. Well-fed we have to apply a certain stratum of citizens, notable among which is our so-called “ruling elite”. It is from her decisions depend on whether we have the hunger ever satiated. However, unfortunately, the statements and, especially, the actions of its representatives, one hundred percent justifies the above saying.

Take, for example, first Deputy Prime Minister Shuvalov, one of the fed officials in our government whose annual income exceeds the income of the President and Prime Minister combined. Well, unless, of course, proceed from the submitted declarations of income.

So that’s what he said yesterday, Mr. speaker, a long time ago already told g-n Shuvalov, which in turn suggests that these Lord – birds of a feather.

In my archive there are several of his speeches on this subject. I’ll give you three of them in chronological order.

In the newspaper “Vedomosti” on 5 September 2008 reads: “First Vice-Premier of Russia Igor Shuvalov believes that large pensions for all is an illusion. If that happens, then Russia will come to the option of individual countries of Western Europe, “where pension costs ate the costs of development,” he said.

Speaking on 21 January 2010 at the international conference “Russia and global world: new decade challenges”, he said: “We have identified the level of state pension provision, having sent a clear signal to citizens: the rest is in your hands. The state will provide a certain pension level, are approximately the same for all citizens… Further, everyone needs to define its strategy for the future: whether it be a reliable family, long-term savings, or some other variant, or a reduction in consumption in old age.”

That is, they say, we guarantee you a minimum pension, and worthy of her size take care of themselves.

And finally, another “gem” that of a statesman. In early October 2013, President Putin decided to increase the salaries of major Federal officials, despite government promises to “begin with yourself” to save budget money. Mr. Shuvalov, commenting on the increase in the air of one of radio stations, said: “The wage, which is now declared, it is funny money. And the government should get another payment”.

To call “funny money” a salary at least 10 times the average salary in the country, could only, truly, a very well-fed people. He actually did not hide it. When reporters asked about his own salary, he said: “I Can make fun of, but I work in government not because of the salary”.

Well, I think it would answer everyone has in their accounts millions of dollars.
