Teramont the official premiere will be held in November this year.
Company Volkswagen has published a video with the new seven-seat crossover Teramont. For the North American market the novelty will be available with a 2.0-liter TSI engine with recoil 238 horsepower. Also customers will be offered a 3.6-liter V6 unit. The engine power is 280 horsepower.
Externally, the novelty will resemble the concept CrossBlue. The car will be more prototype and get other bumpers and a modified radiator grille. According to previously published spy photos, the cabin model is a big screen multimedia system.
Teramont the official premiere will take place at the motor show in Los Angeles in November of this year. The sale of the car is scheduled for spring 2017. Assembly of the SUV will be manufactured at the plant in Chattanooga (Tennessee), where now produce the Passat for the American market. The main competitors of new items will be Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot and Ford Explorer.
Teramont in addition, Volkswagen plans to create another seven-seat SUV that will be built based on the pickup Amarok. Yes the moment we only know that the novelty will receive a 3.0-liter diesel V6 turbo engine – the same as on the new pickup Amarok.
