Sales of the updated pickup will begin in September.
The company introduced the restyled Volkswagen pickup Amarok, sales of which will begin in September 2016. The model received a new three-liter turbocharged diesel V6.
The engine will be available in three power versions: 163 horsepower, 204 force, and the top version develops 224 power and 550 Nm of torque. For comparison, the two-liter turbo “four” dorestaylingovyh pickup gives 180 forces and 420 Nm.
The new unit is able to be combined with a six-speed manual transmission, or with vosmidiapazonnym “automatic”. Volkswagen Amarok will be offered with both front-and all-wheel drive.
The new lightweight steering system Servotronic, and the top-modification have got new brakes with larger discs (432 and 406 mm front and rear respectively).
Restyled Amarok differs from its predecessor other front bumper, slightly modified front and rear optics, as well as a new dashboard. For pickup will be available 20-inch aluminum wheels, bi-xenon headlights, led daytime running lights and rear view camera.
Sales of the updated pickup will begin in September. At first will be available only top-end modification, and the other version will reach dealers later. Prices for a novelty are not yet known.
