Valve is working on Left 4 Dead 3.
Valve recently more engaged in the development of its platform Steam, and the equipment for virtual reality, paying less attention to developing new games. However, this does not mean that the company’s past, as the developers of the legendary games finished.
One of the employees accidentally exposed the name of the new game by Valve. In the manual for tools Steam Workshop Radford Tristan (Tristan Reidford) had the temerity to capture the screenshot 08_directory_fun.png a folder called Left 4 Dead 3.
A cursory acquaintance with screenshots ordinary gamers might not notice anything unusual. However, those who decided to consult the guide more noticed in the upper left corner of the screen a folder with the name of the third part of the shooter.
Such an argument is unlikely to convince skeptics. However, the folder name can hardly be considered a serious proof of the existence of the game in development. Fortunately for fans of the series, employees of the company hastily replaced the name of the game in the screenshot. According to the users of the network, to replace put a picture processed in Photoshop, and not very high quality.
Representatives of Valve in recent years has not uttered one official word about the fate of the series. Whatever it is, new evidence can revive hope in the hearts of gamers.
