We’re in the TOP 10 of Europe
In just six months, sold 192 new electric cars then, as in the same period last year – only 72.
This figure is higher than, for example, in neighboring Poland and Russia, and 2.2 times more than in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania combined.
Electric cars make up 0.7% of all new cars sold in 2016. That is why the index Ukraine and entered in the European TOP 10. Such high sales of electric cars in Ukraine can be explained by the cancellation of the excise duty on them in 2016. Leaders of the electric car market in our country are the Nissan Leaf (142 sold the car) and Tesla Model S (20 cars).
In Europe the highest share of electric cars on the market in Norway – 15%. Above Ukraine in the ranking of Switzerland Austria, France, the Netherlands and Sweden.
