Company Twitter this year I made more than in the past. But the period of rapid financial growth seems to have left behind.
For the year profit Twitter has increased by 18 percent, which is not a very good indicator, if we compare the dynamics of growth from the previous year, when growth was 60.
During the second quarter of 2016 profit of the company amounted to 602 million dollars, which is below the projected level of 607 million. The main reasons why Twitter not got profit, it is considered stiff competition from Instagram and Snapchat. And of course, a huge advertising costs, which eat up most of the profits. Company Twitter also faced with another problem, it almost does not increase the number of active users.
Over the last year their number increased by only 3 million, with 310 million people to 313. Apparently last year was the peak of popularity of Twitter.
