The bill will come into force on the 1st day of the following month after its publication.
For a decision on Tuesday, may 31, voted 237 deputies with the required minimum of 226 votes.
In particular, to vote for this bill, the deputies voted for the amendment, according to which the bill will come into force on the 1st day of the following month after its publication. During the voting of this amendment, the head of the tax Committee of Parliament Nina Southerner noted, this provision is contrary to the provisions of the Tax code and the draft law should enter into force on 1 January 2017. Three deputies had to vote for adoption of the amendment.
In addition, the amendment the validity of the bill is set for 2.5 years.
The bill for imports of all used cars except the cars origin from the country of the occupier (the aggressor) against the Ukraine.
The law introduces a reduced rate of excise duty on used cars to is 0.102 euros per 1 CC with engine volume up to 1000 CC (the current rate of 1.09-1.44 euros, depending on the model year of the car); 0,063 Euro for cars with an engine capacity of 1500 cubic centimetres (now – 1,37-1,76€); 0,267 Euro to 2200 cubic cm (the current rate of 1.64 to 2.44 euros); 0,276 Euro up to 3000 CC (now – 2,21-4,99 Euro); EUR 2,209 for cars with engine volume of over 3000 cubic centimeters (now – 3,33-4,99 euros).

“For example, for importation of the 1 liter car will have to pay euros instead of 63 euros 1761. For customs clearance of 2 l of car will need to pay 534 4882 euros instead of euros”, – said on the Facebook page of the samopomich faction, whose leader Oleg Berezyuk was a co-author of the law.
