For their study, researchers invited women who want to lose weight. All women were tested for tolerance of a smell. The group of women studied was divided into two groups, one of which was aromatherapy peppermint.

During the observation, the experts noticed that women who regularly breathe the scent of mint were daily losing a certain amount of calories a day. In the initial stage this indicator was equal to about 300 calories a day and gradually increased to 2000 calories.

Scientists explained this by the fact that the scent of peppermint can suppress appetite, which allows you to control your food consumption.
