Ramon brasser and Shigeru IDA, the leaders of the research group, has developed an accurate computer model that simulates the evolution of the Earth, Venus, mercury and Mars for 300 million years. Experts compared data on quantities of stocks of gold and platinum on Earth and Mars. It turned out that a large level of precious minerals in the mantle of our planet is the result of a huge planetary impact. Experts believe that it happened even before the formation of the crust. Presumably, the impact occurred at about 4,45 billion years ago.
Similar conclusions have recently been made and the research staff of the Institute for research of the moon by NASA. It proved that gold appeared on Earth due to the collision of the planet with an unknown celestial body, the diameter of which amounted to 3 thousand kilometers, which is equal to the size of Pluto. Scientists have not once wondered the origin of precious metals on Earth.
Earlier experts were of the opinion that gold and platinum has arisen due to a series of space shots but now a new generation of scientists believes that at the dawn of its existence, the Earth was in a relatively “gentle” place in the Universe, which is seldom subjected to outer shocks.
