A large-scale study conducted by Spanish scientists. They found out, representatives of some professions tend more than others to the development of diseases of the cardiovascular system and cancer.
According to the results of scientific work, scientists came to an unexpected conclusion regarding the hazards of the profession of stevedore and working in food service establishments. Experts from Salamanca University analyzed medical records of volunteers of different professions. Interest was the level of sugar and cholesterol in the blood. For purity of experiment the scientists made adjustments for the presence of harmful habits in lifestyle of the subjects.
The results of the study were unexpected. The most negative impact on the people having the profession of stevedore. The severe consequences of this work is the acquisition of cancer and cardiovascular disease. The catering staff were also at risk.
