Scientists from the world wildlife Fund claim that mankind is threatened by a massive sixth extinction.
More than two thirds of the Earth’s biosphere may completely disappear by the end of the decade if humanity is not taken to tackle this.
As noted in a new report by WWF, this can be a “prologue” to the new, already the sixth great extinction.
Since 1970, every year there has been a rapid decline in populations of fish, birds, reptiles and different mammals and more than 58%, if we take the compliance with semi-annual Index of the planet, who leads the world wildlife Fund. It means only that every year disappears more than 2% of wildlife throughout the globe.
“Of course, the reason for this is the human impact. The time of the industrial Board, unfortunately, has brought not only progress, but also great tragedy, after all, we may be witnessing the sixth great extinction. Of course, it will happen, but to prevent this will be possible only by reducing human intervention in nature,” said Martin Taylor, who deals with the matter of conservation.
WWF experts claim that the destruction occurs because people use nature solely for their own benefit, without caring about her needs, clogging it and destroying living there.
