Release No Man’s Sky is scheduled for 9 August.

The trick, which allows to significantly reduce travel time, is the farming of valuable resources. Another trick allows you to quickly overcome long distances, although it is currently unknown whether such ability is a bug or a bad design decision of the developers.
It is noteworthy that Daymeeuhn said that not rushing to the center, trying to maintain his reputation in the eyes of the aliens. But pharming resources allowed him to quickly improve your equipment, which is necessary for journey to the center of the galaxy.
Official release No Man’s Sky is scheduled for August 9 on the PlayStation 4. On PC the game will appear on August 12.
