The ancients even extracted the bone marrow to make money. According to experts, the Neanderthals were not very adapted to the climate of Eurasia. One of the reasons for their extinction was the eruption at the Phlegraean fields, which decreased the average temperature.
Previously, experts had advanced the theory that Neanderthals became extinct due to intensified competition with people of the modern type. Scientists need to understand which of the hypotheses is true.
