“I shoot abandoned Scandinavian houses, trying to share the story of time years, which go unnoticed. During one of the many forest hikes, I came upon a small cottage. He stood lonely and abandoned people, and what I felt. I entered and found the house abandoned many years ago, but this is real. There were books and clothes, furniture, dishes and linens. I later went back there with a camera and started to shoot, wondering why this place was abandoned by its people.” — project author Britta M.
She added that often presents difficulties for family that sought refuge under these roofs, and many possible stories, explaining why they had to leave their homes.
