SCUM will become a real survival simulator, in order to maintain the basic characteristics of the hero.
Studio Croteam, known for shooter Serious Sam, has officially announced its new game SCUM at Gamescom 2016.
“SCUM will be a new word in the genre of games focused on survival. We have implemented elements, unprecedented for the genre. This became possible thanks to new gameplay mechanics,” say the developers.
In the story society has come to a final decline and having fun at the expense of the bloody reality show, all events which happen in real life. The player is offered to participate in the second season of the show SCUM (the scum). All participants throw on devil’s Island, where they fight to the last drop of blood, such as prisoners. The winner of the promise of posthumous fame and the audience’s applause at this show not long survive.
The developers promise that SCUM will be a new word in the genre of multiplayer game about survival. Players will be able to fully experience the advanced customization of characters. In order to survive, will have to absorb the knowledge of the environment and to correctly wield a weapon.

The game doesn’t launch in early access on Steam in 2017. Planned release on PC only. The game is created in collaboration with Studio Gamepires. The publisher is the company Devolver Digital.
