The American television network HBO has officially confirmed the identity of the father of one of the main characters in the popular TV series “Game of thrones” Jon snow (played by kit Harington), according to the official blog of the channel.
HBO has released the official infographic, demonstrate the connection between the inhabitants of Westeros. It clearly shows that parents are snow lyanna stark and Rhaegar Targaryen, there is no line between John and Daenerys Targaryen, which was his mother’s aunt.
“In case someone has doubts that Rhaegar Targaryen is the father of John snow”, — stated in the message.
For most fans of the series, this news was not unexpected — in the last episode of the sixth season the writers finally revealed the secret origin of John snow, confirming one of the most popular fan theories. However, for certain of the series it was clear only that the mother of the snow was lyanna stark, the personality of his father in the series remains unsolved.
