Russian master of equestrian sport Nikita Sotskov died after falling from his horse in the international competition in eventing in Ratomka near Minsk. On Saturday, September 10, reported on the website of the Federation of equestrian sports of St. Petersburg.
21-year-old athlete fell on the track field trials in the penultimate barrier, reports TUT.by. According to TASS, Sotskov hit the obstacle. Doctors working for the competition, were unable to save the athlete’s life.
The Federation of equestrian sports of Russia and Belarus expressed his condolences to the relatives of the deceased athlete.
Nikita Sotskov born December 12, 1994 in Saint-Petersburg. To compete in eventing he started performing in 2008, was a multiple winner of national and international competitions. In 2015, won the silver and bronze prize-winner of Superiority of Russia among juniors.
