Polymagnet American company for several years produces magnets with arbitrary shape of magnetized material polymignite. They are fundamentally different from conventional magnets and have different properties that are set before printing. Polymignite about 5 times stronger than ordinary magnets because they have the energy of the field is concentrated near the surface. The North and South poles in an arbitrary number can be on one side of polymignite.

The magnet spring can be programmed, for example, that the magnets approach each other, but not touching, until one of them rotated by 180º. After locking the magnets it is difficult to tear away from each other, if not rotate one of them 180º. This construction can be used, for example, in magnetic locks.
