According to Hawking, life on Earth is in ever growing danger.
British scientist Stephen Hawking has called upon mankind to conquer other planets. “I think that the human race has no future if it does not come to space,” — said the scientist. His thoughts he outlined in the book “How to build a spaceship”, an excerpt from which is published the Guardian.

The main risk to humanity Hawking believes a nuclear war and the attack of the genetically engineered virus. A similar opinion was expressed by the scientist in January 2016.
Hawking is known for his work on cosmology and science popularisation. He first published an article which referred to the possibility of black holes to evaporate. Back in College, when Hawking studied at Oxford University, he was diagnosed with a rare disease — amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Because of this disease the muscular activity of the scientist to the present time is minimized.
