Set a world record for speed of information transfer 4G

Установлен мировой рекорд по скорости передачи информации 4GCompany from Finland managed to set a world record for data transfer speeds in 4G networks.

There is no doubt that the whole world looks forward to the emergence of 5G networks, wireless communication networks of the next generation who will be able to provide a truly dizzying speed.

Meanwhile, the majority of people uses the existing 3G and 4G networks, the possibilities are not exhausted until the very end. This was clearly demonstrated by the Finnish telecommunications company Elisa, which with the help of several of its own technologies and technologies developed and implemented by Huawei, has set a new world speed record for data transmission in 4G networks. During the record test, which was conducted in the laboratory, i.e. ideal conditions, the data transfer rate amounted to 1.9 gigabits per second. And Elisa using the same technology in a couple-three years, plans to begin providing its customers with network access at speeds up to 1 Gigabit per second.

Record speed were obtained by specialists of the company Elisa with the help of a number of innovative algorithms by parallel operation on the five channels using different carrier frequencies, through the use of 4×4 MIMO technology that defines the structure of radio receivers, transmitters and antennas, and technologies 256 QAM, which defines the modulation used radio signals. And this is the first case in history when the whole listed set of technologies worked in conjunction with the latest technology Huawei LTE-Advanced Pro.

Despite the fact that the company Elisa managed to become the champion, many other telecommunications companies are also moving in this direction and conduct your own tests. For example, in February of this year the specialists of the Australian company Optus was able to achieve peak data rate in 4G networks, equal to 1.23 Gigabit per second when the theoretical limit of the technology used in 1.43 Gigabit per second. And you should not even doubt that the record company Elisa will be broken in the near future.

Setting a new speed record for data exchange does not mean that the clients of the company Elisa and other companies will be able to be provide services at that speed. The thing is that during the record test specialists Elisa had used five different ranges, 800, 900, 1800, 2100 and 2600 MHz. In reality, some of these ranges are reserved for use in 2G and 3G networks.

However, even in existing networks of innovative technologies of Huawei, will allow users to feel a significant difference. “Not all users will be able to gain access to peak speed, but average speed is much “older” due to the introduction of new technologies,” says Sami Komulainen (Sami Komulainen, Vice President of the company Elisa.
