With the help of a powerful telescope VISTA, the purpose of which is the deep monitoring deep space, scientists analyzed a sample of 70 thousand galaxies and in the result brought two groups of factors, which stars cease to form. The first group – external, the second internal.
The first group includes the drag, which occurs when the motion of galaxies to the cluster of other galaxies with the further loss of gas, this also includes the destruction of the structure due to the collisions of galaxies and densities. And the last external factor – lack of material for making stars, in other words, the deficit of cold gas.
The internal factors include: the existence of black holes, wind and so forth on the body of the galaxy, as well as the ejection of gas from galaxies, for example, young stars.
The famous astronomer Behnam Darvish reported that internal factors were consistent with, rather, the early universe, and the external current last 8 billion years. And, as a consequence, the termination of star formation by factors of the first group occurs more actively and more productive when clusters are large in size, the inner more effective in dense galaxies. But still two groups interact.
