Scientists have found that prevents women to lose weight in your own bedroom

American researchers from North Carolina found out what item in the bedroom hinders women lose weight.

The research analyzed data from 43 722 women aged 35 to 74 years. They came to the conclusion that the TV or artificial light in the bedroom during sleep provokes the risk of obesity, writes the Chronicle.info with reference on Voice.

The study lasted from 2003 to 2009, the scientists collected data on the characteristics of sleep and the body mass index (BMI) of the participants. All women classified in four groups, depending on their preferences before going to sleep.

The results showed that sleep with the TV on or a light in the bedroom promotes weight gain of five pounds or more. According to one of the leaders of the study Dale Sandler, the risk of development of obesity in these women increased by 22%.

Scientists believe that the health of the evolutionary importance of sleeping in complete darkness. The source of light during sleep throws the body’s internal clock, which regulate many functions, such as metabolism, blood pressure and hormonal balance.

Meanwhile, nutritionists have called a quick way to lose weight ten pounds in a week.
