Astronomers have discovered in the Large Magellanic Cloud bright nebula LHA 120-N55. At this point the “gas island” painted in pink and blue colors.
The pictures are unusually bright and beautiful nebulae published in the Internet on the staff of the European southern Observatory. Experts explained that this object is a kind of accumulation of newborn and supernova stars, surrounded by gas and dust. According to scientists, there had not yet begun the process of star formation, and so “the island” looks so attractive.
In addition, the experts explained that the blue and pink nebula takes due to the fact that in its vicinity is emerging a new generation of stars. The only downside of these “Islands” is that their age is not long. In a few million years the blue giants, located near LHA 120-N55, will explode and the cluster will be destroyed.
