Company Rosneft Vietnam have begun drilling exploration wells offshore Vietnam. This was reported on the website of “Rosneft”.
As noted, in the framework of the project “Rosneft” for the first time acts as operator of drilling on the international shelf.
The planned depth of the well in the trunk will be about 1380 meters, the sea depth in the area of drilling wells to about 162 meters. Drilling is performed using a drilling rig of Japan Drilling.
Recoverable reserves of natural gas that geological structures are estimated at 12.6 billion cubic meters and 0.6 million tons of gas condensate.
Then “Rosneft” plans to drill one exploration well on the other block, also located in the basin Nam Con Sean.
“We commend not only the current status of implementation of joint projects in Vietnam and the prospects of their development”, — said the head of “Rosneft” Igor Sechin.
Currently, Rosneft is already involved in a number of projects for the extraction of gas and condensate and exploration on two blocks offshore Vietnam.
