At the auto show in Paris has unveiled the fifth generation of the SUV Land Rover Discovery.
Despite the fact that the novelty is built on the same aluminium platform as the Range Rover, she got a completely new design and greatly improved performance.
In comparison with the predecessor, the new Discovery is much longer, but his weight decreased by 480 kg. Another feature of the car is seven full-fledged seats, the latter of which is remotely controlled via the app on the smartphone.
Also, new Discovery has completed a large variety of options and systems, including adaptive cruise control, detection of road signs, monitor driver fatigue, automatic braking for collision avoidance and many others. In addition, the salon has established nine USB ports and the Wi-Fi module.
Along with the SUV was presented to the engine range, which consists of two 2.0-liter models with a capacity of 180 and 240 HP, and petrol 3.0-liter unit with turbo power 340 HP
It is reported that the Ukrainian market, the fifth generation Land Rover Discovery will be released in the spring of 2017.
