The British introduced the SUV 2017 model year.
The company Land Rover introduced an updated SUV Range Rover Sport. The first model received a four-cylinder engine, and also got upgraded multimedia complex and a number of new electronic assistants.
In the engine range of the Range Rover Sport came in two-liter petrol “turboservice” family Ingenium, which is already used on models of the Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque. The engine develops 240 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. With this unit the SUV can accelerate from standstill to 96 kilometers per hour in eight seconds and its top speed was 206 km / h.
The novelty got a system to prevent frontal collisions, and improved recognition of traffic signs, which transmits data about the speed limits, adaptive cruise control. Branded all-wheel drive system Terrain Response is supplemented by a function of Low Traction Launch that help to pull away on slippery surfaces.
Finally, the SUV has received an upgraded infotainment complex InControl Touch Pro with a larger ten-inch touchscreen and integration with “smart” watches.
In addition, the British have perfected a mobile app through which the driver gets remote access to some machine functions. In particular, the phone will now remember the most popular routes of its owner and automatically upload them to the satellite navigation system of the vehicle.
European sales of the updated Range Rover Sport will start in late 2016. The price of SUV is not yet known.
