Outlast II release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is scheduled for autumn 2016.
The team Red Barrels during a live broadcast told about the storyline Outlast 2. The new game is set in the same universe as the events of the original horror film, but with new characters and new location.
The primary character is a journalist-operator, which is sent to the investigation into the murder of Jane DOE. By helicopter, he goes to the canyons in Arizona, but the helicopter crashed. The main character finds himself in an isolated village, whose inhabitants believe that the world were to end.
Founder of the Studio Philip Morin (Morin Phillippe) and screenwriter J. T. petty (J T Petty) told me that a long time carefully studied the feedback from the players about the first game and made the appropriate changes.
The creators of the new game separately noted that the artificial intelligence in the game had to be redone from scratch. The new system is more complicated, and, apparently, make the players nervous a lot stronger than before.
Release date Outlast 2 is scheduled for autumn 2016. The game will be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
