The developers of Outlast 2 players upset with the news of the postponement of the release of his new project. If earlier the release was scheduled for the end of 2016, but now the date was pushed to early 2017.
“We had to make a difficult decision. After weighing all the pros and cons, we decided to postpone the release of Outlast 2 until the first quarter of 2017,” wrote the developers on the official game’s page in Facebook.
“We want you to know that we have carefully read all of your feedback, understand the prevailing excitement, which means that you appreciate our work. Our mission as an independent Studio — to please you in the best horror. That’s why we decided to spend a little more time, not to sacrifice anything and to make Outlast 2 game you deserve.”
“This is not the news we wanted to share, but we are so passionate about the process of creating the game world and socializing with the gaming community that we just could not afford to release the game, the restrictions of which have not been tested in extreme conditions. Thank you for understanding. We promise that Outlast 2 will take you all inside”.
The plot of the second part will revolve around a dark cult, which is headed by a religious pastor. The release will take place simultaneously on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4.
