Popular social network attack scammers

Популярную социальную сеть атакуют мошенникиNetwork Facebook has become dangerous.

Online criminals attacked the world’s largest social network Facebook. Information about this was spread by the ESET company engaged in the development of anti-virus products.

According to experts, the attackers spread false news about the explosion in Prague”.

When you try to go to the page with the “news” to read the full text, the user is on a phishing (fake) page on which he is required to enter a username and password from Facebook — supposedly in order to gain access to the website, which published information about the incident. In fact, entering your personal data, the user simply “gives” a username and password to fraudsters.

For spreading false news attackers use hacked accounts. At the same time to recognize a fake, according to experts, just look at the photo that accompanies the link. Pictured here the town is not similar to Prague, or other European capitals.

Anyone who has suffered from the activities of fraudsters (ie entered the username and password on the page with a fake news), it is recommended to change the login information on the page. Currently, the victims are mostly residents of the Czech Republic and Slovakia, however it is not excluded that in the near future the geography of the activities of criminals can be extended.
