Poll: Russians want to ask Putin about the crisis and pensions

At the upcoming “straight line” the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, which will take place on 14 April, the most popular will be the issues about the level of income and social security of the population, the survey showed “Levada-center”.

28% of Russians would like to ask questions about the salaries of public sector employees, unemployment, social benefits, free medicine, high prices for medicines and other issues.

Another 21% of respondents are concerned about the economic situation in the country. They would like to ask the President, for example, when will the crisis end or what will happen to the price of oil and gasoline.

13% are concerned about the pension sector. They are worried about what will happen to pension age and retirement savings. Among the questions is this one: “How to survive on a pension?”

Another 12% would ask the President about corruption and dissatisfaction with the government. Also they would be willing to ask the President, “when you cease to put in power their cronies” and “when you start to think about ordinary people.”

The five most popular questions covers the topic of housing and communal services – it is ready to talk with the President 11% of respondents.

Among the least popular issues were international politics: Syria, Turkey and Ukraine ready to speak 4% of the respondents.

Few Russians want to ask Putin, when he marries or how his dog.

4% stated that they have no questions to the President or his “there’s no use asking”.

The survey was conducted on 25-28 March in different regions of Russia. Just it was attended by 1.6 thousand people. Everyone could write their question.

Earlier, the Russian public opinion research center published a survey about the problems that worry the Russians. According to the center, most Russians are worried about the economy, their wages and unemployment. Political problems of the population almost do not care.
