Best natural phenomenon was seen in Tanzania
Today, residents in some parts of Africa have observed a unique phenomenon – the spectacular solar Eclipse “ring of fire” when the Moon is almost full, but not completely covers the Sun disc.
This Eclipse of the Sun happens every year when the Moon is from the Earth at a great distance. Resulting in the sky you can see only a bright circle of sunlight around the dark base.
Best natural phenomenon was seen in Tanzania, where it lasted about three minutes.
Residents in some areas of Gabon, Brazzaville (the capital of the people’s Republic of the Congo), Madagascar and the French island of réunion in the Indian ocean are also able to observe the annular Eclipse.
The next solar Eclipse will occur in February 2017, it can be seen from parts of South America and Africa.
