“On the edge” announced the competitive program of the film festival

In the competition program of the sixth of the Sakhalin international festival features 15 films (9 of them debut) from 15 countries – Russia, Austria, Germany, Georgia, Israel, Iran, Spain, Tanzania, Croatia, Chile, Sweden, Estonia, South Korea, Japan. For most of the competition films screenings at the festival will be the premiere in Russia.

In addition to the competition program, in the framework of the Sakhalin international festival will be held 15 non-competitive programs, which will feature more than thirty countries. The competition program will assess how members of the jury and the audience by voting. In this year’s jury included actress Makiko Watanabe (Japan), directed by Alexander Kott (Russia), directed by Isabelle Stever (Germany), Director and playwright Irakli Kvirikadze (Georgia), producer, General Director of the Union of cinematographers of Beijing Yan Yu (China). The Chairman of the jury will speak Polish Director Krzysztof Zanussi.
