NASA scientists managed to capture on video the appearance of a secondary outbreak of the Sun, which appeared on July 24.
In the video posted on the NASA website, you can see how the solar matter is deposited on the surface of the star, forming a loop. This process is also called “coronal rain”.
As explained by NASA, during the “rain” plasma falling on the Sun’s surface, dramatically cooling down at the same time – from one million to several tens of thousand Kelvin, as the stellar surface is much colder than the solar corona.
