The space probe Cassini has been made unique photos of two moons of the planet Saturn – Tethys and Hyperion.
Representatives of American space Agency NASA say that this picture managed to get, using the narrow-angle camera of Cassini. Secrecy in the photo acted in the course of the year, that is, they were done in August 2015.
At the time of shooting Tethys and Hyperion separated from each other at a distance of 1.5 million kilometers, which by cosmic standards is quite a small measure. It is noted that NASA in 2011 talked about the observable diameter of the Universe is 46 billion light years.
Despite the fact that the satellites are “tied” to one cosmic body, but two icy moons, at the same time, completely different. Hyperion enters the orbit and has a spherical body of irregular shape.
