Solar Observatory NASA filmed the double Eclipse
Solar Observatory NASA 1 Sep recorded on camera double Eclipse, when both the Earth and Moon blocked its view of the Sun.
In the video below you can see first the Earth completely covering the Sun, and then briefly passing across the Sun a piece of the moon.
Please note that the ends of the Earth look blurred, while the moon they are clear and crisp. This distortion is due to the atmosphere of our planet, which absorbs light from the Sun. The moon its not.
On Earth this Eclipse, too, it was possible to observe, though not as a double, and as a ring.
