The supermoon is called a celestial phenomenon when the full moon or new moon coincides with the perigee – the closest approximation of the satellite to the Ground. SUPERLINE usually appears in the sky every 13 months, but a phenomenon that can be observed in the night of November 14, special.
NASA astronomers say that at this time the full moon will coincide with perigee at 2 hours. As a result, Superlon will be 14% larger and a third brighter in comparison with the usual full moon. The phenomenon will break the record of 1948 and will be the largest supermoon in the 21st century. The next time a similar phenomenon can be observed only in 2034.
Experts recommend to observe the phenomenon, away from the city lights at night, then the Moon will seem even bigger.
