The survey was conducted by Western popular Dating site among the thousands of both sexes.
The authors of the study claim that people who had more than 10 sexual partners, may be perceived in a negative way because of the intense sexual life, at that time, as those who over a lifetime had less than 10 partners, may be suspected of inexperience.

The most popular response among both genders was between 8 and 12 partners. For it gave their votes to 38% of women and 37% men. The second most popular from four to eight partners, chosen by 24% of women and 28% men.
