Door crossover called very unreliable
Journalists Consumer Reports found Tesla Model X a lot of problems, including failures in the doors.
American publication Consumer Reports has published an annual rating of reliability of cars, which first hit firm Tesla Motors. The producer of electric cars took 25 th place ranking, placing it among the companies with the least reliable cars, says Sladshot.
Reliable SUV is estimated as “much worse than average”. Jake Fisher, head of testing cars, Consumer Reports, noted that door X Model type “wing hawk” brought the users a lot of trouble.
Thus in Consumer Reports recorded an increase in the level of reliability of the Model S in 2016.
Previously, the electric car owners complained about the powerplant, equipment for recharging of batteries and build quality.
This year Consumer Reports studied more than half a million vehicles, details of which were provided by readers of the journal. The research affected more than 300 models, which appeared between 2000 and 2016. First place in ranking again went to the company Lexus, which remains the leader for the fourth consecutive year.
