Three of them are in the Solar system.
Scientists have found five places where life might exist beyond Earth.
In contrast to the previous belief of scientists, recent discoveries, NASA notes that the discovery of extraterrestrial life in our Solar system, is more than possible. Astronomer Seth Shostak called five places in the Universe where life can be.
In the first place by probability, where, according to NASA, can be life, is Mars. According to the latest research on the red planet is indeed possible life: she meets the requirements on the temperature and composition of the atmosphere and many other characteristics. On Mars, it is sufficient hydrogen, which is one of the most important elements to sustain life. About the aliens, of course, we are not talking, but the presence of single-celled organisms is quite real.
In second place Jupiter’s moon — Europe. It found the remains of water, which previously could be salty oceans — it is possible that water in the liquid state may be here still. Hubble discovered in Europe, remains icy plumes late — geysers.
Saturn’s moon Enceladus is also, according to NASA, may be suitable for life. Here is still preserved geological activity, and the surface reflects most of the light. Probably inside of Enceladus is hot water, and hence can develop life. Cracks that were found on the surface during one of the space missions, indicate the presence of thin ice — it is there, the idea is that there are underground rivers.
The famous B from the Proxima system Proxima Centauri has called exoplanet. It is in the “zone of life”: is removed from its star, has sufficient reserves of hydrogen and wonderful temperature. With it, NASA believe that life there can be only one side, since the planet always facing the star on one side.
The latest contender is the star KIC 8462852, around which, as suggested, can be built a spaceship. The reason for this is changes in illumination, which may indicate the presence of the structure in front of the sun. However, recent studies have shown that, most likely, no buildings there.
