Racer “Honda” Jack Miller with the help of the weather furnished the established favorites of the series.
The first prerequisite for action-Packed race at Assen came in 40 minutes before the start. Expectations were met – the rain has turned the Dutch Grand Prix in a thrilling spectacle with an unpredictable finale.
At the start of the leadership seized Rossi and Dovizioso and reigning world champion Jorge Lorenzo quickly fell out of the points zone. 16 laps to go Dovizioso bypassed Rossi and Petrucci began to pressure the eminent compatriot.
Four laps later, the organizers due to rain decided to interrupt the race. After the restart dropped out of the race Dovizioso and Petrucci, soon fell and Rossi.
Miller first took the lead for eight laps before the finish – the Australian did not flinch under the pressure of Marquez and became the first in ten years nezabudkin racer who won the MotoGP stage.

In the individual standings Marc Marquez on 24 points pulled away from Jorge Lorenzo. Valentino Rossi after a failed trip to the Netherlands is lagging behind the leader by 42 points.
