The winner of the next stage of world Cup racing became the driver of the Ducati, Andrea Iannone.
Iannone started from pole position and until the tenth round kept the lead until he walked by another racer Ducati Dovizioso. Behind this pair were the representatives of the “Yamaha” Lorenzo and Rossi, Marquez and viñales (both Honda) rounded out the top 6.
Gradually both Ducati ran away from the “wells” for seven laps before the finish Iannone regained the lead and did not allow the partner to counterattack. Lorenzo had to settle for third place, Rossi has completed Austrian stage fourth, and the leader of the season Marquez rounded out the top 5.
