The driver of the “Hony” Dani Pedrosa scored in the San Marino their first win of the season.
Two riders “Yamaha” Lorenzo and Rossi kept the lead after the start. After two laps, after the start of the race Rossi walked around his partner. Meanwhile, Marquez broke through to third place.
The future winner of the race Dani Pedrosa, starting from eighth position, due to a good tyre choice made a quick progress on the fourth line, and then walked Marquez.
12 laps to go Pedrosa passes Lorenzo and becomes a main rival Rossi. The Italian lasted five laps and was also behind the irrepressible Spaniard. The fight for the podium ended with Pedrosa quickly pulled away from Rossi and Lorenzo did not allow Marquez to break into the top 3.
