Belarus is negotiating with Iran on oil supplies in connection with the complexities of the negotiation process with Russia on gas and oil.

This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, reports state news Agency BelTA.

“We are negotiating with Iran, which is desperately sources for oil supplies. And ready us to reduce the price,” – said Lukashenko.

He pointed to the reduction of Russian oil deliveries to Belarus, urging not to confuse “the issues of oil and gas”. According to Lukashenko, the oil refineries, “companies that don’t provide the eyeballs in Neft”.

According to the head of the state, the government of Belarus has set the task of finding alternatives to Russian oil.

“We have agreed today loaded tanker goes to Odessa, and start to supply through Ukraine to the Mozyr oil refinery,” – said Lukashenko.
