“The results of our study show that lack of sleep could be a marker of accelerated aging of the brain,” says study author Dr. June Lo. This was confirmed by computerized testing of cognitive functions of the brain. In the coming years we are going to determine what is beneficial for cardiometabolic health in the long term.”
