This method allows scientists to determine the coordinates of the ship in three-dimensional space with an accuracy of up to thirty miles, but only if it is at a distance of the radius of Neptune’s orbit from our planet.
The guides are “millisecond pulsars”, they are able to emit x-ray fluxes with the accuracy of atomic clocks, this makes it possible to carry out such accurate calculations.
