A devastating super Typhoon in infrared light.
NASA has unveiled the most powerful Typhoon Nepartak” that were made before and during its approach to Taiwan on 7th July.
Pictures of the Typhoon was published on the NASA website.
Pictures in infrared light allowed the scientists to determine where there are the coldest winds of the Typhoon. The researchers found that the colder tops of clouds, the higher they are in the troposphere and the more powerful storms they cause. The tops of the clouds whose temperature is -53 degrees Celsius cause powerful rainstorms.
A victim of the Typhoon in Taiwan was at least one person, 66 were injured. “Nepartak” destroyed thousands of houses in China, five people are still missing.
