It is known that helium-3 is an extremely rare element on Earth, and therefore scientists are looking for it in the vastness of space.
A team of scientists from the Center for astrobiology, Mexican National University, the University of Manchester after the experiments conducted have discovered a rare gas to 4000 light years from planet Earth.
Such discoveries have been done by the world’s greatest antenna NASA Madrid deep space communication complex.
Discovered gas, Helium-3, has enough energy to be used as a raw material for the nuclear power plant. Significant margin the substance is also on the Earth’s satellite.
Head of project Lizett Ramirez and his companions of the above universities found that gas is generated in their environment. That is, Helium-3 is produced in the center of stars, after which it is discarded into space.
Scientists do not put on that point, they will continue to conduct research in this direction.
